The Harbor Boulevard Merchants Coalition is pleased to learn that Disney has put the massive Eastern Gateway Project on hold.

This decision presents an opportunity for the entire community to work with Disney and the City of Anaheim in the spirit of cooperation.

The neighborhood is a gateway to the community and the withdrawal of Disney’s application as originally submitted presents a unique chance to create a revised project that’s emblematic of the vibrant energy of the City of Anaheim as a whole.

With this worthy goal in mind, the Harbor Boulevard Merchants Coalition is looking forward to working with city officials to review the development potential and standards for the entire neighborhood and not just the portion contemplated by Disney’s Gateway Project.
